The Drive
I drive in every morning
When this or that job failed, a new degree, or a new job at the end of Route 66
I drive in to work
Lake Michigan runs along side and never changes, but looks different each day
I drive in to work
So many people have come and gone, when I left for my wedding, and my friends showered me for John's birth
And I drive in to work
And now John graduates high school and will soon be driving in with me
